MARET will have a food vendor trailer at the Top Notch Horse sale on May 11 and 12th.  We will not be at the Irma but will be out at the arena where the horses are previewed and also for the competition before the sale.

We need volunteers to help prepare food, and work the vendor trailer.  On May 11th we will need volunteers between 11am and 5pm to sell food to visitors.

On May 12th we will need volunteers to set up and man the trailer during the horse competition.  This will be from about 7am - 11 am.

If you can volunteer a few hours, please contact us at 899-5370 and let us know that you can be there.  It will be a fun time and a good time to meet the community and recruit more volunteers.

Friday and Saturday turned off cold and windy and the number of garage salers were down, but between the garage sale and the food trailer, MARET netted $900.35.  That is more than last years garage sale.

The food was a success and we gave away free coffee to our visitors.  Many were very thankful and even donated to our banks.

A very special thanks to Kelly for getting the flyers out and the information circulated.  Thanks to Doc II and Chris for putting out the garage sale items and organizing the barn.  Special thanks to Becky for her hard work and helping in getting the food prepared and ready for sales.  Also for working the garage sale and helping customers.  Thanks to Al and Nita for their support and for letting us use their property for the sale and to Nita for fixing us breakfast and keeping the troops fed.

Tag and price your items, and MARET will sell them for you at our semi-annual garage sale for a 20% donation back to MARET. 

All you  have to do is price your items, put your name on your stickers and provide an itemized inventory to MARET.  We will attempt to sell them for you and we will record the sales price.  At the end of the sale, we will provide you with your cash minus 20% for selling them for you. 

This is a good sale every year for MARET and it draws quite a crowd so maximize your sales opportunity and sell with us on April 27th and 28th.

Bring an appetite and a little cash.  MARET will have tacos in a bag, bacon wrapped shrimp and crab bites, the best brisket this side of the Mississippi, burger bites, and... chocolate bacon!!!  Coffee, tea and water will also be available.  Bring your appetite while you shop.

OK, it's time to get ready to gear up for our semi-annual Garage Sale/Fund Raiser.

This is scheduled for April 27th and April 28th!  If you have some things that you'd like to donate, Call Mark at 899-5370 so he can make arrangements to pick it up. 

Volunteers are always needed to help customers, sort items and clean up after the sale.  Please help us make this another successful sale.
